Each month we will share a monthly debt update to document our progress and use it as a way to reflect and keep us accountable and motivated. March was an exhausting month. They all seem to be these days. But what keeps us going is the opportunity to actually have options…eventually. So we keep pushing, keep making these debt payments because we see the progress. And it is so motivating.
Let’s get into it. Below is our monthly debt update.
What We Did Well
Our focus is still on track and we are doing a great job at holding each other and ourselves accountable.
What We Can Improve
I am in no way suggesting that we are doing this thing perfectly. We are not, because we are imperfect people. But we’ve got our heels so deep in the sand and we are extremely focused. Same as last month, nothing to add.
At A Glance
13% of the total debt paid.

Focus Debt – Rental Property #1
Sometimes looking at the big picture can be discouraging, so we like to focus on one debt at a time. It makes this large debt pill just a bit easier to swallow. The current snowball is Rental Property #1 and it is PAID IN FULL!!
Wins
• Milestone – Rental Property #1 is paid off. We received our escrow refund check in the mail and our zero statement from the bank. It’s official. We celebrated with some takeout and sighs of relief. We squirrelled away a few dollars for a future treat we are planning and Sean got a haircut. LOL.

That has to feel so good, I can’t even imagine. Yeah I’d say that’s worthy of a haircut.
Thanks, Noel! Feels amazing. But we moved on to the next goal so quickly, the feeling has already subsided. LOL. But a haircut never felt so good.
